At the Farm

Went up to the Farm for a few days. A couple of legal things to get accomplished. Took some photos of the Farm area while there.

Was a really nice spring time in Oklahma. Still too early for storms, but they will come. They have had a lot rain. That's a good thing.

Victoria for fixes

I told Liz I'd go with her to Victoria to walk thru the steps of getting her rig ready. She was going to get (1) extenders to take to the tire shop, get (2) 7 new tires installed on her rig, (3) do her laundry, (4) do a Wal-Mart load, (5) do a Lowes stop, and then over night at one of the lots in Victoria. We finished 1 and 2, then loaded up the laundry and went to get that done. I baby sat Simba while she did the work. We then put everything in her rig hugged good bye and I went into Wal-Mart for my run and she walked Simba. I got home by about 5:45. Got a couple of photos of flowers on the way home.

Rig delivery

Time to deliver the rented RV back to it's owner. I'll be driving to Kerrville and delivering this to Karen. Diana will pick me up there and we will drive back to Goliad for the night and then Diana will head out to Austin.

Few pics for this trip....later I'll add.

Encino Grande RV Park outside Goliad

This is a small park and the spaces are close together. But it is off from the main highway and the area around the park is just fabulous. It is well maintained and ran very well.

I reported an electrical wiring and the owner said she would have her electrican repair it.

Here are a lot of pics of the flowers in the area.

There is a dog in there, rolling around!

A far away butt shot.

This is a beautiful RV park during the spring. Can hardly wait to come back for the fall.

Rig pick up

We picked up Liz's 'new to her rig'. Went and got two new batteries (what a story), but only one hooked up as she went from 6 volt to 12 volt. Then hit the road....about 4 p.m. But since we were on the far west side of Houston, the traffic was not a factor, just lots of it, but that's all. I had Simba with me and that was quite a trip. When we left Houston, he was standing up in the back and looking out the back of the car. There was Liz behind us driving the rig. He was satisfied. It took about half an hour for him for him to settle down and lay down.

We made it all the way to the Rest Stop near Victoria before we made our first stop. After the stop, Simba, was up looking to see if Liz was following us. Took him, again, about half an hour for him to settle down and lay down. When we got to the RV Park he was ready to be out of there and go to Liz. He didn't throw up at all on the just never know.

No pics for this trip.

Goliad State Park waiting and recovery

Liz is using Karen's rig but she doesn't drive that large (30 ft) of Class C. So I drove it up from Mustang Island State Park and then went back for my rig.

We will be here until Sat. 3/10. Then the park fills up with Spring Breakers. We will move on to another park near here that is out in the country and is a Passport America member. Looks to be a nice park.

GTG Mustang Island State Park

Unfortunately, there were so many things happening at this time in my life, that I did not have the energy and effort to put into this GTG.
